Your Soul Has The Map To Your Best Life
If you are feeling lost and uncertain of your purpose or direction in life, believe me when I say, it is only in thought. Your soul, your essence, has the map of the path to your best and most fulfilling life. Taking time every day to strengthen your connection to your soul will help you attract what is meant for you, help you let go of what isn’t, and bring you more joy in the now.
The simplest way to strengthen this connection to your soul self is through a regular, intentional meditation practice. I used to read all about the benefits of meditation, but until I really committed to it and felt the effects, I didn’t quite grasp the ultimate goal.

Meditation helps you to embody your soul self, the YOU who is calmly resting behind your thoughts. This peaceful, loving, all knowing Soul that is the real YOU, awaits in the background. And when your mind gets quiet enough, you can feel your true essence there. All the answers to everything you want to know are there, already in you, if you just tune in regularly.
Maybe you’ve tried to meditate and had thoughts like, “Why am I doing this? My mind won’t get quiet, this is weird, this doesn’t work for me”, or, “nothing is happening”. Try and just watch these thoughts. They are the ego, a pattern of the human mind. They are not your true soul self. The purpose of meditation, is to connect to the stillness behind the thoughts, so you may become the observer of the thoughts, rather than becoming them.
Over time, when you identify more with this place of stillness, you will naturally have more peace, less struggle, and be guided to your best life with ease. If you want to dive deeper into “The Seat of The Soul”, read the book by Gary Zukov. I found it to be very helpful in navigating my way to my soul connection.
What is our ultimate path?
My understanding, is that we all come in as souls to experience this human life. And we all have a plan of sorts, a general blueprint of the experiences we wish to have, the lessons we want to learn, and souls we want to connect with. We all have a destiny. This doesn’t mean we only have one destiny, or one great ultimate moment or calling. It means that if we allow ourselves to be guided by our soul, we will feel fulfillment in whatever we do. And that’s all anyone really wants anyway right?
How do we know when it is our soul is guiding us?
Our soul communicates in peaceful yet powerful nudges, knowing, callings, and expansive feelings in the body. When it is time to let go of something, or move in a certain direction, we will feel it. The soul often speaks through our body but never through intrusive, unkind, or judgmental thoughts, as does the ego mind.
Often, it is simply guiding us to what may fill our cup in the moment. (A warm bath, writing a thank you letter, or taking a walk for example).
Soul guidance comes through us with a calm voice that is all knowing and distinctly quieter and less agitating than that nagging inner roommate. The soul is always present and never mulling over the past or future. Our soul is in the now. By quieting the mind often enough, you can learn your soul’s way of communicating through you.
None of us are connected to our soul all the time, which is good. We must feel the stark contrast of the disconnect, can understand appreciate the joy of being fully connected.
Our soul is the vibrance of life. Our connection to the Universe.
In any given moment we are either aligned with it, or we are not.
If you are troubled and feeling lost, I can assure you, your soul self is not. Commit to a simple daily meditation practice and you will feel the difference that even just 5 minutes a day makes. Don’t give up. It won’t take long for your path to unfold effortlessly and for your life to flow with more ease and less suffering. If we all take the time to connect and live more through the path of our soul, we will be more fulfilled, more understanding of one another, and live in greater peace.
